STANDARD FREE DELIVERY:

To offer the best quality/price ratio, most of our products shipped from our warehouse in China via registered mail, for which customers will receive tracking details as soon as they are shipped. 

We are in the process of signing up with warehouses in Europe and the US. This page will be updated with that information as soon as we have stock at these warehouses.

With the new shipping methods and couriers we use, most products are delivered within 1 to 2 weeks. Our new couriers launched in Jan 2021 and all tracking numbers are trackable on our tracking page.

SHIPPING TO THE USA: 

All orders to the USA, are delivered via a number of shipping partners including NEWGISTICS, USPS, UPS, FEDEX and DHL. Most orders are delivered within the US, some of the products we sell come directly from overseas and pass through customs with no issues. 

Please be aware that some countries (apart from USA) can stop parcels at the border for security checks and import taxes. These can add to total delivery times. Depending on your country's laws, some will impose extra taxes in accordance with the import laws. These extra charges are out of our control, not imposed by ApexModz or the couriers we use. All these taxes are government-imposed, they receive 100% of these charges. If you fail to pay these charges, parcels can be held for up to 90 days, awaiting payment. This will delay any return or refund process, and could fail to qualify for our refund policy.

I had emailed my dissatisfaction and get some sort of generic email or only addressing one of the three issues. When I responded to get an answer on the others, I was ghosted. I sent another email requesting an answer. I really feel that this item should be seriously discounted. Customer service is lacking in the quality control isn’t there as well. I paid over $1100 for a steering wheel. Customer service should go along with that you can reach me at [****].

We bought a Model X Plaid for my wife, but never got to test drive the yoke before delivery. We drove the car for 90 days to see if the yoke would 'grow on us', but it never did. It still sucked, so we bought a round wheel from PimpMyEV. It immediately made the car better. The quality is great and there were zero problems installing it. My wife loves it, and loves the fact that it's heated. Thanks for developing and offering a solution to an unforced error from Tesla.

Nobody should buy these yoke Tesla S Plaid model from pimp EV they are useless because you can’t swap the switches from your old yoke Tesla cement them in If you try to take them out they broke very easily there’s no way you can take them in one piece out. After I asked the company for help, Evie’s awful and unprofessional advice was to “wiggle them with a screwdriver and mess with them”. that’s their best advice. I wasted $2800 on this steering wheel and had to pay for a repair from Tesla. They don’t have any customer service rep in North America and advised me to send me my old yoke to LA to a third party company to see if they can help, but with no guarantee. This is a waste of money and time, and a deceptive company who only wants your money. Please think twice before buying and don’t make the same mistake I did.

I urge that if you are considering a purchase of the custom Model s Plaid yoke device from Pimpmyev, that you think about these basic facts, then stop even think about buying this custom device.

1. The photos of the yoke are disingenuous about what you’ll receive, as all of them show the Plaid OEM touch sensitive induction front trim. I none of the photos do they show this part of the yoke removed, which is what you’ll receive it you order this device. Only in the in fine print will you find that your “installer just needs to port over the original front trim from your old steering wheel along with the airbag the new steering wheel.”

2. They provide no instructions to you or your installer on how to remove the Plaid OEM touch sensitive induction front trim and install it on their custom yoke. Because of this your installer or a skilled DYIer is likely to botch the task, as I did. As a result I needed to buy a new yoke from Tesla and PimpmyEVs yoke is useless. So that’s about $4,000 down the drain.

3. When I asked their customer service for install instructions, they sent me a video in Chinese which, unless you speak Chinese, was difficult to understand did not provide adequate information to do the job successfully. The video does not even mention or show that there are two flexible printed circuit ribbons at the top of the induction faceplate that connect the turn signals, wiper mechanism, headlights, and horn. When trying to remove the induction faceplate from my OEM yoke, I tore them off, so now I have a yoke that doesn’t not control these important safety devices.

4. This is close as close to fraud as it could get, and especially given the cost of the custom yoke.

I suggest that, at least for the custom Plaid yoke, you avoid PimpmyEV like the plague. If not you’ll likely to contract a virus of errors.

RETURNS POLICY:

Shopping for your car should be hassle-free and fun, so don't be afraid to mix things up! If an item is faulty, return it for a refund within 14 days of delivery in the original condition and packaging. If the items are not faulty, there is a 20% restocking fee that is applicable on the items. This is equivalent to the shipping cost for the products we sell. As with all sales, there are costs associated and since we offer free shipping on everything, the cost is needs to be accounted for hence the restocking fee. This is similar to other businesses that do not offer refunds on shipping costs.

RETURNS PROCESS:

1. Place a copy of your order receipt in the shipping box with the items you are returning. 2. Make sure to include your order number, email, first and last name. 3. Indicate reason for return. 4. State if you would like a refund or store credit.
As soon as we receive the return from you to our warehouse, we will process your return within 2 - 3 business days. ApexModz does not cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is damaged or defective - please read below for further details.
Please ensure the merchandise is returned in the exact condition in which it was shipped, new, and unused in order to receive your refund. This includes the original packaging and the box it came in.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

We know how frustrating this situation can be. We will issue a brand new item once we confirm the item we delivered is defective. If the item is to be returned, shipping costs are on us.
We will provide return instructions for the damaged or defective item. Please ensure you contact us within 14 days of the delivery date.

CUSTOM PRODUCTS:

For products such as the custom steering wheels, custom smart ring, custom puddle lights, custom seat covers and custom emblems there are no returns or exchanges. Once an order has been accepted, it cannot be cancelled during production. These are fully custom made products that are built to your specifications. That is the nature of custom made products, unfortunately.

We will of course cover any manufacturing defects or damage during transit. Having said that, we have had very few complaints or issues for any of our custom products in the last 3 years.

RETURN SHIPPING GUIDELINES:

Our returns process is pretty simple. Just initiate a return request via our contact form. Our returns team will be able to provide you with the location to ship the return. We will process your return within 2 business days of us receiving the product.
Please include a tracking number for the returned product, this helps us to process your return as soon as possible. We do not cover costs for return shipping for any items other than damaged or defective items.
Return time frames depend on how soon you are able to ship the products to us and when we receive them.
